Our European Trade Practice is based in our Brussels and London offices. It is fully integrated into our U.S. Trade Practice, headquartered in Washington, and our Global Projects Practice.
The team is known for providing practical advice on the full range of trade issues and has represented clients in proceedings before the EU Commission, the EU Courts in Luxembourg, and authorities and Courts in the Member States. We are also engaged in trade related matters arising in third countries in which they cooperate, where necessary, with local counsel.
Our European Trade Practice covers the following areas:
- Trade defense (anti-dumping and anti-subsidy)
- Economic sanctions and export controls
- Trade policy and market access
We are also following very closely the negotiations between the EU and the U.S. on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and the opportunities this ambitious project offers to companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
