HOUSTON, December 4, 2019 – The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) has selected IP senior associate, Megan LaDriere as their December 2019 "Volunteer of the Month" for her commitment to pro bono and helping others in her community.
The DVAP published a short Q&A on Megan, discussing her involvement in Baker Botts' pro bono practice, the impact pro bono cases have had on her career and more. When asked about her most compelling pro bono case she stated, "It's hard to choose one—I've loved them all and learned something new every time. Mostly, I'm overwhelmed with the gratitude and appreciation from all my pro bono clients."
Megan has a wide range of IP litigation experience including, multi-patent infringement lawsuits, defending and countersuing false advertising claims, and litigating a petition in the International Trade Commission (ITC). She also has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a range of technologies, including the telecommunications, financial services, software, mechanical equipment, and electronics.
