Mr. Botti was the co-head of Squire Patton Boggs’ Antitrust & Competition Practice Group and previously served as Chief of the Litigation I Section for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. Mr. Swisher, also formerly with Squire Patton Boggs, has extensive experience representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the DOJ in connection with government antitrust investigations of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and serves in the Leadership of the ABA Antitrust Section.
Mr. Botti graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in 1982 and received his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University in 1985.
Mr. Swisher brings over two decades’ worth of experience in advising clients on a full spectrum of antitrust matters. His experience spans all sectors of the economy and includes numerous substantial representations of health plans, hospitals and other healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, technology firms, oil and gas firms, electric power generators, manufacturers, retailers and consumer products companies, among others.
Mr. Swisher received his B.A., with distinction, in Economics from the University of Virginia in 1990 and his J.D., with high honors, in 1995 from The George Washington University Law School, where he was a managing editor of The George Washington Law Review. He teaches Antitrust Policy at the University of Virginia Department of Economics and is active in the leadership of the ABA Antitrust Section, where he presently serves as Vice Chair of the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals Committee.
